1. Who we are
This website, bahiasouk.com, is run by Mo Fetah, based in Marrakech, Morocco (“BahiaSouk”, “we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What we collect and why
- Launch list: when you enter your email in one of our signup forms, we collect your email address. We use it to send you news about our launch, our collection and our makers. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Emails you send us: if you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you.
- Technical data: like every website, our hosting provider automatically receives basic technical information when you visit (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested), to deliver the site and keep it secure.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
3. Services we use
We use a small number of trusted providers, who process data only on our behalf:
- Formspree receives and stores the email addresses submitted through our signup forms. See the Formspree privacy policy.
- Our website hosting provider serves the website and keeps standard server logs.
Some of these providers may store data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, they use appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. How long we keep your data
We keep your email address for as long as you stay on our list. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we remove it within 30 days. We keep emails you send us only as long as needed to answer you and handle any follow-up.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, the UK or California), you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you,
- correct it or ask us to delete it,
- withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time (every email includes an unsubscribe link, or just reply and ask),
- object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for a copy in a portable format,
- complain to your local data protection authority.

6. Security
We use reputable providers and secure (HTTPS) connections, and we limit access to your data to the people who need it to run BahiaSouk.
7. Children
Our website is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when our store opens. We will change the date at the top of this page, and tell you by email if the changes are significant.
