The way we work is simple, and it is why we can tell you where each piece comes from.
We choose or design
We handpick traditional pieces from makers we work with, or create new styles of our own and share them with a maker.
Makers craft it by hand
The maker weaves, stitches, carves or shapes each piece, working in the craft their family or workshop knows.
We check and send it
We look at the piece before it ships, and we look after every order, question and return.
Made from honest materials
Natural materials and traditional techniques. Each one has its own craft, and its own makers.
Wool
Soft, dense and warm. Woven into rugs, pillows and throws.
Cotton
Breathable and easy to live with. Used for pillow covers and throws.
Leather
Cut and stitched by hand into poufs and ottomans. It softens with use.
Palm & raffia
Natural plant fibres, woven by hand into baskets and trays.
Brass
Hammered and punched into lamps, trays and mirrors.
Clay
Shaped and fired into pots, vases and tagines.
Cedar wood
Carved and finished into boxes, frames and small tables.
The people behind our pieces
Our makers choose how much to share, and we only publish what they have agreed to. We never publish contact details or addresses.

We’re asking each maker how they would like to be introduced. Some are happy to share their name and workshop, others prefer to stay private, and we respect both. Their profiles will appear here soon.

Handmade pieces are never identical. Small differences in colour, size and pattern are part of what makes each one yours.

Alongside the pieces we handpick, we create our own styles and develop them with our makers, who craft each one by hand.
